【摘要】 当前的关于公司国际化的著作主要关注的是西方国家企业的国际化。进军国际的中国企业很少被关注；绝大多数的科研著作关注西方企业进入中国,但很少注意中国企业国际化日益加速的国际化进程。本论文旨在分析这些新的世界级竞争者的国际化。尤其是考量这些中国公司国际化的水平,并考察其与财务业绩是否有直接关系。我着重五个大型的中国跨国公司在过去十年里的国际化进程。我尝试用S型的国际化-业绩假设分析这些公司,结果显示在中国跨国公司在过去这些年里已经有了很快的国际扩展速度,并且找出了其财务状况与国际化在不同发展阶段间的重要关联。中国公司开始国际化的初期,两者间成反比。随后的第二阶段,中国公司在国际化进程拓展过程中财务业绩同步提高。但是,最终我不得不推翻S型的国际化-业绩假设,因为只有在这两个阶段两者有关联。所以中国公司的国际化和业绩间其实是U型关系。这表明中国公司还远未达到过于国际化。所以,我验证了中国公司在国际化的最初的两个阶段中和其他国家的公司有相似的变化趋势。总之,我在本论文中介绍了S型曲线假设并展示了国际化和业绩间关联的原因；然后,我介绍了五个在很多方面来说可以作为中国国际化代表的大型中国公司；最后,我...
